While we're all about celebrating Pride through design, we recognize that true LGBTQIA+ inclusion and equity require systemic change. At Microsoft, we're committed to helping drive that change by advocating for the rights of LGBTQIA+ people at Microsoft and around the world. Read stories from our employees and learn how we celebrate Pride at microsoft.com/pride.
In the face of adversity, existence itself can be resistance and spark change. Pride Month means different things to different people. For some, it's a glittery, beautiful month-long party celebrating diversity and self-expression. For others, it's a time to reflect on how far we've come and how far we have left to go in the fight for LGBTQIA+ equality. And for many, it's a bit of both. This year, Microsoft employees celebrate the radical joy of Pride and invite everyone to spread acceptance, abundance, and harmony everywhere.
We believe that everyone should have the freedom and tools to express their identity in whatever way feels right for them. That's why we're excited to share some fun and easy ways to bring your Pride to life this month with Microsoft Designer. Whether you're a member of the LGBTQIA+ community or an ally looking to show your support, Designer has a ton of great features to help you create designs that reflect your unique perspective and style.
Let's explore five ways you can use Microsoft Designer to express yourself, celebrate love, and spread joy like rainbow confetti.
1. Create original designs with Pride-themed graphics
Last year, we released a collection of open-source Pride designs for everyone to remix and make their own. This year, we've rounded up our favorite graphics into a handy dandy Pride design package you can download for free.
After you download the graphics, you can easily add them to Designer to use in your own creative projects. Here's how:
1. Visit the Microsoft Designer Pride package and hit that download button at the top.
2. Visit Microsoft Designer on your web or mobile browser and log in with your Microsoft account. (Don’t have a Microsoft account? Create one for free).
3. Select Design Creator. When the next screen appears, select “Skip and start with a blank design.” On the next screen, select any size (you can change it later!).
4. Navigate to the My Media tab and upload the Pride graphics.
5. Drag and drop these elements to your design and use them however you like. Fromidentity flags and borders to ready-to-use Pride and radical joy graphics, there's a little something for everyone in this vibrant starter kit.
2. Customize a Pride-themed design template
If you're not quite ready to start designing from scratch, no worries! We’ve created a dazzling collection of free, professionally designed Pride templates just waiting for your personal touch.
When you see a template that calls your name, select it and it’ll open in Microsoft Designer. Customize the template and make it your own.
Use these designs to create social media graphics that radiate pride or celebrate your chosen fam.
Allies, you’re invited to join the fun and customize a template to show solidarity. Everyone is welcome at this party!
3. Create vibrant custom stickers with Sticker Creator
Stickers can add instant flair and fun to any design. With Microsoft Designer’s Sticker Creator, you can whip up your own eye-catching, Pride-perfect stickers in a snap. Share your stickers on social media, add them to other designs, or even print them onto sticker paper and hand them out at events. It’s a fun and easy way to spread the Pride joy far and wide.

4. Remove backgrounds for Pride-perfect profile pics
Ready to update your profile pic and let your pride shine? The Remove Background feature in Microsoft Designer makes it a breeze to remove the background from your photos and replace it with a Pride-themed backdrop or symbol. Consider a flag, a Pride-themed pattern, or anything else that expresses your creativity and style.
5. Give your Pride photos a joyful finish with a custom frame
Showcase your Pride photos or give your profile pic an extra touch of magic with Frame Image and Collage Creator. Frame Image lets you add a custom AI-generated frame to any photo, while Collage Creator helps you turn up to ten photos into a custom framed collage. Just upload your picture(s), specify the elements you want your collage or frame to include, and select an optional style like watercolor, papercraft, or artistic doodles. Designer will take care of the rest.
Here are a few frame ideas to spark your creativity:
